Vice President Kashim Shettima has highlighted that Nigeria is currently facing economic challenges. He acknowledged that the situation is not unique to Nigeria alone but is a global issue. He called upon citizens to unite and show support for President Bola Tinubu during these times.
“This is a man we need to rally round and support,” Vice President Shettima emphasized during a town hall meeting organized by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) in Abuja. He pointed out that while Nigeria’s economy is experiencing turbulence, this is a shared challenge globally.
“Is any economy immune from the challenges of the times? So, I ask you to be fair to this poor man,” he urged the attendees, emphasizing the need for solidarity and understanding amidst economic difficulties.
The Vice President also stressed the importance of effective reforms in fostering economic growth. He stated, “There is no doubt that every thriving economy grows from the quality of reforms adopted to offer the people avenues to translate their business ideas into formidable enterprises.”
In his address, Vice President Shettima underscored the significance of supporting President Bola Tinubu, implying that economic challenges are a global phenomenon rather than exclusive to Nigeria. He encouraged citizens to stand united in backing the President during these trying times.
