This revelation came from a source familiar with the situation, stating, “The airline mentioned in this memo was Max Air flying into Abuja from Kano.”
The situation escalated when the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) issued a warning to all aircraft operators. This was prompted by a report from the Office of the National Security Adviser regarding an unidentified aircraft over the Presidential Villa (DNP4).
