A Federal High Court in Lagos State has granted bail to social media influencer Chizorom Harrison Ofoegbu, known as Ijele, who was detained on criminal charges.
Justice Akintayo Aluko delivered the ruling on Friday morning, stipulating a ₦50 million bail bond.
One surety must possess land in Lagos, while another must hold a civil service position of no less than level 14.
The charges against Ijele involve conspiracy, criminal defamation, cybercrime, and threats to life.
The case has drawn attention, with the Nigeria Police Force prosecuting on behalf of Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Prayer Ministry Movement Outreach.
