Justice Hamza Muazu of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja has denied a request from Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to travel abroad for medical treatment.
On Tuesday, Justice Muazu ruled that Emefiele did not provide sufficient evidence to prove that the medical trip was necessary and unavoidable.
