BBNaija S9: Why I prefer I win N100m prize ahead of my wife, Kassia – Kellyrae

Must Read

Following the dissolution of the Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ pairs on Sunday, one of the contestants, Kellyrae, has expressed his preference for winning the 100 Naira million grand prize over his wife, Kassia. This statement follows the eviction of the team known as Radicals. The dissolution of the pairs means that the remaining housemates will now compete individually, shifting the dynamics of the game entirely.

Kellyrae and Kassia, who had competed as a formidable pair known as DoubleKay, had initially hoped to win the grand prize together. The pair was known for their strong bond and strategic gameplay, which made them favorite. However, with the recent twist in the show that separated the contestants, Kellyrae has made it clear that he now prioritizes his victory over a shared win with his wife. During a conversation with his fellow housemates on Sunday night, Kellyrae openly stated his preference, saying, “Me and Kassia, I prefer make I win, because her money na her money, my money be our own.” His words suggest a playful yet competitive spirit, highlighting the underlying tension and rivalry that can arise even among loved ones in a competitive setting.

Kassia was also present during this conversation and playfully rebuffed Kellyrae’s comments, calling it a lie and laughing it off. Despite the light-hearted exchange, there is a deeper layer of competition between the two. Kellyrae emphasized that if his wife were to win the grand prize, she might not share the winnings as generously as he would. “If she wins, the story will change. She will tell me I was evicted and that the money is hers. She will give me only N1 million. She knows I’m saying the truth,” he added. This remark was met with laughter from the other housemates, but it also shows the unique pressures and conflicts that can arise when partners compete against each other for a significant prize.

The prize for winning the Big Brother Naija show include N100 million, an SUV, and other sponsored prizes. This makes the stakes incredibly high for all remaining contestants.
