Heavy rainfall in Lagos and Abuja led to the cancellation and delay of numerous flight operations by airline operators on Friday, affecting flights to other states as well.
Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, had to cancel several flights on Friday morning due to the downpour.
In a statement, Air Peace acknowledged the weather conditions, emphasizing that passenger safety remains their top priority despite the disruptions.
Passengers flying with other airlines also experienced delays as they awaited clearance for takeoff at Lagos and Abuja airports.
