Do you have a desire to reach out to vulnerable children and youths anywhere in Nigeria and across Africa? Then you should be interested in partnering or sponsoring MAAG Africa’s new initiative – MAAG Africa Career Exploration Project (CEP).
This is a sad reality: thousands of Secondary school students do not further their studies after SS3 because there was no one to guide them through a career path. Many more pupils and students drop out of school every term because of challenges like access to tuition Fees, School Uniform, and hunger. You can be the reason they return to school!
In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, MAAG Africa South-South Career Exploration Project for Secondary School is set to provide students with valuable insights into various career paths, help them make informed decisions about their future, and
equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen fields.
The career exploration project will play a crucial role in helping secondary school students identify their interests, strengths, and career goals by exposing students to a wide range of career options, this project enables them to explore different industries, job roles, and educational pathways. In doing so, students can gain a better understanding of their own skills and values, which is essential for making well-informed career choices.
MAAG Africa a non-governmental organization, committed to promoting inclusive and high quality educational standards, with a special focus on empowering the girl child, strives to
create a world where every individual, regardless of gender or socio-economic background, have access to quality education that can unlock their full potential, and also focusing on
addressing the gender disparity in education.
MAAG Africa is implementing the South-South Career Exploration Project for Secondary School in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Edo State.
This initiative is specifically designed with a primary focus of creating a platform where students can interact with professionals from different industries and get mentored in a structured and fast-paced setting, get educational opportunities, to build connections and learn more about various career options, helping them explore different career paths and gain insights into potential future professions.
With this program the organisation aims to empower Secondary Students to take ownership of their career paths and development through quality education, guidance, and mentorship, helping them take control of their career and make informed decisions that align with their interests, values, and goals.
